Still in Kas!

My second day in Kas. Aside from a short jog this morning (under the influence of Redbull), I've spent the day working on deadlines and even my new Twilight Zone inspired short thriller, Pembroke Pines. This is a very nice, quiet, relaxing seaside place. A place that is not at all like me...wired up, impatient. and yearning for more adventure. But hey, you gotta relax once in a while, right? Tomorrow we head north for more cool ruins and tombs!

Destination Konya

Taking you with me on the drive over the Turkish plains to the city of Konya, a most sacred place for Muslims, especially this time of year during Ramadan. There's a military airbase housed here so while I'm stuck inside my hotel room trying to make a deadline I'm listening to some military jets flying overhead. I can only assume the pilots are on high alert considering the proximity of the war in Ukraine and ongoing conflict in nearby Syria.
