It's funny how some people don't know how to interact with me. They know I'm a fulltime author and yet they treat me like I'm some sort of strange being who doesn't really have a job. A sort of suspicion or even cynicism takes over and they immediately revert to talking about the book they plan on writing or other authors. I just roll my eyes.
