Dogs are not only man's best friend, they are loyal to the core. Unlike humans, all they require is some food, a little love, and companionship. They never complain. Writers, who spend their time alone, away from humans who often cause interruption, will always allow their dogs to hang out while they write. In some cases, a writer can't produce words without his four-legged best friend by his side.
